I don't technically know who has been reading my blog the past week or two, but thank you and I hope you enjoy. I haven't been posting things just because I've been enjoying more real life situations outside of my house which have caused me to stop blogging. And I'm sorry for that. I really am. I will try to update more often. I've also created 4 different blogsites, all the with a similar name, and I'm not sure if you can easily view all my blogs by going to either one. I have to look at it and see how that works. Until then I'm just going to make posts on the other blogs to link to the one I actually wrote to for that day. This shouldn't last for more than a week honestly.
For my readers, I would like to post a little about myself just so you know a bit about me and maybe where I'm coming from when I'm writing my blogs. Well let's see, I'm currently 26 and I will be 27 later this year (this year being 2012). I grew up in Florida, but currently live in Pennsylvania and have for a few years now. I would like to move back to Florida as I like the weather and people there more than up here.
I'm a hockey fan, I tend to follow stats a lot, but I go for the Philadelphia Flyers. Not entirely sure why, I find it more entertaining to watch them as opposed to other teams and I actually get a lot of their games on TV.
I have a few best friends and they definitely know who they are. If you had asked me 8 years ago if I would still keep in contact with these guys (And as much as I do at that) I probably wouldn't have thought so. We had some times where we didn't speak much just because we were busy in life, but we both realized that would happy and we wouldn't be able to spend that much time talking or hanging anymore. When you get older responsibility just kicks in.
I have some other blogs, mainly my quotes to live by blog, but I haven't posted to that in awhile because I haven't found an interesting book to get in to yet. I haven't been searching much either. I didn't start my life religious or anything, but I am Christian now. And I've started reading the Bible and plan to finish it within 3 months. I'm on day 12 out of 90! Anyway, that takes up some time. A lot of you may be thinking, a book in 3 months... That's nothing! I read the Harry Potter series in 4 weeks! It's a bit different haha. Anyway, I wanted to keep my blogs away from strictly Christian ideals as to not arouse any arguments about it. I just posted that because it is an important part of my life.
I was engaged and recently that relationship ended so I am doing the single thing again. It's not terrible though, a lot less stress and more time to read and do things that I actually want to do. I have the ideal that the perfect relationship is one where both people support the other and are best friends. Just like I mentioned 2 paragraphs ago. Friends understand it, you may not be able to devote 100% of your time to someone, or even 10%. But what you do in that time is what counts. And how you actually care for that person counts.
I still at my old age haha, play some video games, but they are definitely getting phased out of my life. A lot of newer games just don't intrigue me at all and they can't keep my attention. They also can consume your life and that's bad because there are so many other things you could be doing with your time. Not trying to say people that play video games all day long are doing things wrong, it's just not me.
I'm sort of a health nut. Right now I've been slacking for awhile so I will start my diet and exercise regiment soon enough. But when I'm in it, I'm in it. I count calories, I try to workout 30-45 minutes at least 3 times a week. And whenever I can walk up steps as opposed to riding an elevator I do it. I think that's important. Any exercise is important. I recently read that if you have a job where you sit all the time if you just tap your feet while working you can raise your metabolism up to 12% I think it said. That's ridiculous, just keep moving. I'm doing it right now while I write this.
I love music, most kinds, and pretty much through every genre there is a song that I enjoy, some genres I enjoy more songs though. My favorite bands are probably The Decemberists, Rise Against, Blink 182, Meat Loaf, Something Corporate and there are some others, but too many to list.
Anyway, that's a good little broad overview of me. I may post more in the future, but I just wanted to get a post up on this blog. I started this 2 days ago and just got distracted haha.
